Dr. Gus Tiboris

A Sheboygan native, Dr. Tiboris attended the University of Wisconsin-Madison, and then Marquette University School of Dentistry. A classmate of Dr. Feider, they both graduated dental school in 1973 and set up separate offices in Sheboygan. They continued to share ideas and set a goal to build an office together, which they completed in 1988, and still share as part of Feider, Tiboris and Bistan.

Because each patient is unique, Dr. Tiboris believes it is important to be a good listener in order to understand his patients’ personal health expectations and build a trusting relationship with them. While dedicated to adult comprehensive care, esthetics and technical excellence, his goal is to be gentle and thorough.

Continuing his education has been important to Dr. Tiboris, and he believes being a professional means being a continual student. Additionally, he has had a 30 year association with the Pankey Institute in Florida, where he currently serves as a teaching assistant and as a member of its Board of Directors.

His many professional memberships include the American Dental Association, the Wisconsin Dental Association, and locally, the Sheboygan County Dental Society, of which he has been a president and program chairman. He is on the staff of St. Nicholas Hospital and serves to dental students at Marquette University.

Locally, he is active in his church and serves as part of his parish council. He is a member of Rotary International, the Sheboygan Economic Study Club, and helps raise funds for the United Way and Evans Scholarship Program. Reading (especially philosophy), traveling, golfing, jogging on the treadmill, and watching Badger basketball and football games, are a favorite way to relax.

Dr. Tiboris is especially proud to have had his father, Dr. Ernest Tiboris, practice part- time in this office until his permanent retirement in 2005. His son, Deno, is attending dental school in Boston and will graduate in 2009, making it a three-generation profession. He and his wife, Linda, live in Sheboygan and look forward to visiting all their children, including Michael on the west coast, and Kallie, still in the Midwest.
